Having looked at the remaining fixtures, Hythe have played the majority of the top teams and have some very winnable home matches against teams also fighting against relegation. Of course, these games have to be won, but the opportunity is certainly there. It was a great comeback last Tuesday v Whitehawk with Riley Alford's superb lob in the 97th minute securing a point, but goals like the opening one conceded need to be eliminated as it puts you very much on the back foot when you give the opposition a head start without them having been made to work for it. The referee was good, particularly with regard to penalising some outrageous time-wasting, which, proved pointless in the end after that 97th minute concession.

One more win will secure Hythe Town's position in the Isthmian South East Division. There are likely to be just two relegated teams and Whitstable and Phoenix are both on 30 points with three to play.
